Illadelph Glass has made several changes to their 2016 catalog which we will be sharing with you soon but we want to share with you one of the biggest changes for 2016 that AllGlass has confirmed with Illadelph Glass.
In 2009, Illadelph Glass introduced to the world their crest logo along with announcing their new high end packaging: a padded all-over-print box which will have custom laser-cut foam inserts to fit your Illadelph tube and parts. Along with this was included a 2 piece Illadelph Grinder. Originally they were Space Case brand and later would be Santa Cruz Shredder brand premium 2 piece grinders.
Illadelph is always looking to innovate and improve the customer experience with their products. Customers have spoken over time and Illadelph has responded positively and accordingly to the feedback.
In 2009, it was less common for one to have multiple pieces or a collection of pieces than consumers now. Collectors mentioned how they were not interested in having multiple grinders when they only needed one, a lot of times already owning a 4 piece grinder of sorts before purchasing their Illadelph, and how they could use something to help carry their consumables with their pipe.
Illadelph heard this request and have done away with the grinders. The replacement to the discontinued Illadelph Grinder are these very stylish, high quality Illadelph Jars.
Each jar features Illadelph's logo on one side and their simple crest on the other. On the lid you will find either Illadelph's wigwag or reticello logo design.
AllGlass confirmed with Illadelph Glass that the jars are made of "glass with a colored organic spray coat and organic screen press logo; The glass lid houses an airtight plastic gasket, of course made here in the US."
All of Illadelph Glass's 'flower' pieces that previously included the 2-Piece Santa Cruz Shredder grinder will now include the new Illadelph Jar. These pieces include but are not limited to standard sized beakers, straights, and coil condenser waterpipes ranging from the 5mm production series through the 9mm production series and spanning the All-Over-Print series, Signature Series, and the Scope Series.
