The $4,000 T.K. Happa Sake Bottle Bong That Was Stolen and Returned By Police

This is not something you hear about too often. Generally in the high end functional glass art community, you don't find too many happy endings when hearing about a stolen piece of functional art and getting the police involved. But here we have a different and very beautiful case.

We have Lt. Stephen Cronin and the rest of the great people at the Framingham Police Department in Connecticut to thank for handling the case properly and getting the amazing $4k T.K. Happa x Kinda Glass collab oil rig waterpipe back into the hands of the rightful owner.

Lucas Torres of Framingham Connecticut (pictured below from an earlier mugshot) decided it was a good idea to break into an apartment on October 16, 2016 and steal a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
This particular piece of art was made by T.K. Happa in collaboration with Kinda Glass and was released at a special glass show in Tokyo, Japan that took place at the end of summer in 2015.
