Dave Strobel x Illadelph Glass x Liberty 503 Glass Honeydrip Honeycomb Coil Collaboration

Recently AllGlass.com was lucky enough to get our hands on one of the newest limited runs from Illadelph Glass.
In March and April of 2015, Illadelph Glass got together with Dave Strobel and Liberty 503 Glass to produce a total of ten complete honeydrip & honeycomb themed coil condenser sets.
All of the ten honeydrip sets produced in this limited run is unique in its own way. No two honeycomb coil sets from this series are the same.
Each collaboration coil set is engraved with the its number in the series and includes a hard Italian made Explorer travel case that is custom cut to fit each individual piece of the set. Ours is numbered 9 of 10.
The three way collaboration set comes with a faceted lid glass on glass jar that shares the matching honeycomb theme deep blasting as the waterpipe itself.
The complete set includes an Illadelph branded Newport Torch and Hive Domeless Ceramic Nail along with Illadelph's titanium tool.
Illadelph Glass is preparing to release their new Micro Ashcatcher. In anticipation of the release of that product, Illadelph has produced a very special edition version of that Micro A/C to help complete this honeydrip honeycomb set.
The matching worked ashcatcher is a recycling ashcatcher. Its extensive function includes having a hollow drain stem that goes from the middle splash guard down into the main chamber of the ashcatcher.
This allows for the water to cycle throughout the main and middle chambers of the Illadelph Micro Ashcatcher.
Dave Strobel is known for his intricate millie work as he has been doing it for over 20 years. The large three dimensional honeycomb featured in the center of the coil that brings the whole piece together is a millie from Strobel.
Liberty 503 Glass, amongst glassblowing, is known for their radical ability to do the most intricate of cold work. That means sandblasting, etching, carving...anything to do with putting designs into glass, Liberty 503 is a master of the art.
Liberty has gone above and beyond on this set. Every corner of this piece is engraved tastefully with honeycomb and honeydrip patterns including the downstem of the ashcatcher!
The 3D honeycomb millie by Dave Strobel has been given the illusion of being floating within the coil condenser. From all angles, it looks like it is freely suspended in a stationary location within the freezable coil.
Even the Illadelph Glass 5 hole slide is worked by Liberty 503 Glass and features their brand logo on the custom 14mm joint.
The honeycomb themed engraving is prevalent throughout the ashcatcher including on even the recycling drainstem!
